I love the atmosphere of this beach, it was a real inspiration for me. It's the Duckpool beach in Cornwall on a rainy day. The sea was going out at that moment and the rain (that got me soaked :) ) just stopped. Light started breaking through the dark clouds like a sign of a new hope, mirroring in the rockpools the sea was leaving behind. 

I have to say this is one of my favorite paintings at the moment.

The colours again didn't come out so well on the photo... nicer in real. 

The idea of a new, fresh life, coming through the past, dry leaves, leaving the winter behind. New hope.

Initially I wasn't too keen on this painting. But I like it more and more actually. the atmosphere just draws me in, a warm day sunset with crasching waves :)

I am quite fond of this painting. Can imagine just sitting on one of the rocks, watching the sea, enjoying the sun and breeze :)
